Summit to Sea

Summit to Sea Challenge

Our decision to delay the summit to sea challenge turned out to be a good one. Some of the parents managed to get to the top of Cairngorm by 8am, and skied most of the way down to the bottom, we then ran, swam, cycled, ran, cycled, ran (again) and finally went into the sea – arriving in Findhorn just after 4pm.

It was a full on day of activity in mixed weather, little visibility up Cairngorm and very cold water in Loch Morlich. But we were delighted to have made it.

We very much appreciate all the sponsorship we have received so far. If people would like to add to the donations, we would be grateful for more funds to add to what we can give to boost funds for the primary school.
